Twenty-Fifth Annual Junior Lifeguard Program
Lifeguards In Training (LITs)
One of the main purposes for establishing the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol Junior Lifeguard Program, in the year 2000, was to train the children of alumni in an effort to prevent the disappointment of non-employment due to a failure to meet the minimum requirements of testing. If you are interested in your son, daughter, or grandchildren working as a lifeguard for the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol, please seriously consider registering them for this program before they tryout. There is a 40 applicant limit and the program is open to the general public so register as soon as possible. Click on the link on our homepage for an application and more information.

Alumni Employment
Every summer, when students go back to school and the number of available guards is not sufficient to cover all the beaches, Sea Isle City Beach Patrol hires alumni to work the week before Labor Day. To qualify for this program you must have left the beach patrol in good standing. You must be able to swim 500 meters in 10 minutes or less and run one half mile in 3 minutes and 45 seconds or less. It is also required that you have a physical examination to show you are fit for duty as a lifeguard. Only the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol Physical Examination form will be accepted. For more information or to register call Chief Renny Steele at beach patrol headquarters.

Thirty-Second Annual Alumni Golf Outing
The golf outing will take place at the Avalon County Club,1510 Route 9 Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Alumni can request to have certain individuals placed in their foursome. Alumni who do not specify placement will be assigned by the organizational committee. Both male and female alumni are welcome.
