The Sea Isle City Beach Patrol hosted the 2024 South Jersey Women’s Lifeguard Conference! Attending were 64 female lifeguards representing 16 beach patrols.  At the event, guards collaborated and discussed issues related to females in the workplace. Thank you to our featured speakers, SICBP Alumni Joanne Lombard Palombo and Colleen McIntyre Osborne, for sharing stories and wisdom at the symposium! We appreciate all the local establishments that helped to provide food throughout the day Maryanne Pastry Shoppe - Sea Isle City, Giovanni's Delicatessen, McGowan's Market, Playa Bowls Sea Isle, Shorebreak Cafe and Wawa. Thank you to JOLYN for providing a pop up shop and Surfside Fitness for facilitating a fun workout to end the day!  Each attendee left with an eyewear retainer from Seaside Shade Shack. Last but not least, our sincere appreciation to St. Joseph Parish Sea Isle City for allowing us to host the event in their auditorium!
